Yati CRM · Compliance

Debt settlement compliance software that checks every action first.

Every call, text, email, contract, draft change and settlement passes a compliance gate on the server before it happens. Violations are stopped instead of discovered, and every decision is kept as evidence.

Regulations

The rules debt settlement runs under, checked in software

Each body of rules is checked before the action, and the reason for every decision appears in the log and on the agent's screen.

Consent and do not contact

TCPA and opt-outs

Business owners are often reached on their mobile phones. Consent is recorded per channel with its source and time, and a do-not-contact request blocks every channel.

Settlements

Client approval and escrow

No settlement goes ahead until the client's approval is recorded and escrow covers every payment.

CAN-SPAM

Commercial email

Unsubscribes honoured on every email, from every user and every workflow.

Calling rules

Calling windows and frequency

Calling windows checked in the business's local time zone, including stricter state windows, and contact limits per channel.

Program terms

Your contracts and processors

Fees, settlement ranges and lengths inside your limits; draft changes only with the client's agreement and notice.

Client access

Portal and documents

Sign-in codes only for invited clients, and document requests only while they are open and on file.

Every decision, and the reason for it, appears on the agent's screen and in the decision log.

How the gate decides

Checked on the server, at the moment someone acts

  1. 1

    Someone acts

An agent clicks Text on a lead. The screen already shows whether texting is allowed.

  2. 2

The gate checks on the server

Do not contact, consent, calling hours and frequency, against current settings and the lead's local time.

  3. 3

Allowed or blocked, with the reason

Allowed: it goes out and is logged. Blocked: nothing is sent, and the agent sees the rule and why.

AI disclosure checks

Every recorded call is checked for your required disclosures, and misses go to a manager's queue. Recordings are deleted 6 months after the call, and each deletion is recorded. How the AI works →

Rule set

Rules in code, limits in your hands

The rules are part of the product. Their limits, such as calling windows and contact limits, are settings your admins control, without waiting for a release.

Changing a rule is a decision on the record

  • Every save is a new version, with who made it and why. Old versions are never overwritten.
  • Each gate decision records the settings version it used.
  • A change takes effect on the next attempt; nobody has to redeploy.

The screen warns before you cross a line

  • Turning off do not contact or consent for a channel.
  • Turning off email opt-outs (CAN-SPAM), or calling outside 8 AM to 9 PM.
  • Raising the contact limit for calls or texts on any channel.
  • To save, the admin accepts the risk and gives a reason, kept with the version.

Audit-ready

When an examiner asks "why?", you have the answer

Every gate decision

Allowed or blocked, with the rule version, settings version, thresholds and facts used.

Every change

Who changed what, before and after, whether a person, the system or an approved AI suggestion.

Every approval

How the client agreed, and for portal approvals the time, IP address and browser.

Every call

A recording notice on each call, the recording kept 6 months, disclosures checked.

"Did this client consent to texts?"
The consent record for that channel, with where it came from and when.
"Why was this call placed at 8:40 PM?"
The gate decision, with the lead's local time and the calling window in force.
"Who approved this settlement, and how?"
The approval record: recorded call, in writing or in the portal with time, IP address and browser.
"Who widened the calling window, and why?"
The settings version, with who saved it, the reason given and the risk they accepted.
"Were the required disclosures read?"
The disclosure check on the recorded call, and the manager review if one was missed.
"Which rule blocked this draft change?"
The decision log entry: rule code, settings version, thresholds and the facts it used.

Compliance sits on top of the security model: a separate environment per company, sealed account numbers and an append-only audit log.See security →

FAQ

Questions about debt settlement compliance

What is debt settlement compliance software?

Software that checks the rules a debt settlement company operates under, such as consent, do not contact, calling windows, commercial email rules and program terms, at the moment someone acts, and keeps the evidence of each decision.

Do these rules apply to business (MCA) debt?

Many do. Calls and texts to business owners' mobile phones, commercial email and state calling rules can still apply, and your contracts and processor set rules for every draft. Which rules apply to your programs is a question for your counsel; Yati CRM enforces the settings you choose.

How is TCPA consent tracked?

Consent is captured per channel with its source and time. A call or text without consent for that channel is blocked, and the agent sees why.

Can we change the rules ourselves?

The rules are part of the product. Their limits, such as calling windows, contact frequency, notice periods and program terms, are settings your admins change without a release. Every save is a new version with who made it and why.

What happens when an action is blocked?

Nothing is sent or changed. The person sees the rule code and the reason, and the decision is recorded in the log.

Does Yati CRM replace our compliance team?

No. It enforces the settings you choose and keeps the evidence. Review your rule settings and disclosures with counsel before you go live and whenever the law changes.

Your rules, your counsel

Yati CRM ships with a starting rule set and enforces the settings you choose. It isn't legal advice and doesn't replace your compliance team: review your rule settings and disclosures with counsel before you go live, and whenever the law changes.
